I usually don't push apps, but if you have an iPhone or Android mobile device and you'd like to utilize your Montserrat gchat account (or just about any chat service available) then check out Trillian. It's a free app without ads and offers a streamlined, easy to use interface with the ability to use multiple accounts spanning different services.

Google has officially rolled out its new design at Montserrat College of Art.  Click on the "switch to the new look" link to make the switch early or wait for the transition to occur automatically.
